Analysis of Tesla Model 3's First Year As Police Car Suggest Significant Cost Savings

One criticism I have heard regarding the deployment of EVs in emergency medical services here in British Columbia is that we should be spending our tax payer dollars on more resources to aid with our increasing call volume, instead of on EVs, which typically come with a higher price-tag than conventional vehicles. This article should help clarify that replacing our aged out vehicles with electric options will not come at the expense of other resources being added to our service, but rather will provide an opportunity for significant cost savings, and these savings will in turn help pay for additional resources.
